Anger at the Toll Plaza

The series

On 26 January 2024, around one hundred farmers and forty tractors occupied the Allonzier-la-Caille toll plaza on the A41 between Annecy and Geneva. Through a filtering roadblock, a shared meal and the presence of law enforcement, the mobilisation transformed the motorway into a collective space in which the farming community voiced its exhaustion, demands and solidarity.
